Who We Are
Renny
Ponvert founded Management CV because he saw a clear need to create a
disciplined management evaluation system that combines the facts of
quantitative analysis with expert research analysis. His experience in
acquisitions due diligence and working with buy-side portfolio managers and
trader clients convinced him that "quality of management" was an
oft-cited key factor in determining investment decisions, but equally undefined
as a disciplined process.
Renny began his career as an
institutional mortgage-backed bond salesman and worked at the Value Line
Investment Survey before going on to serve in a number of senior management
roles at business information firms. He was the managing director for the
Worldscope database at Primark before it was acquired by Thomson Financial in
2000. He was a co-founder and CEO of
DataJungle Software and most recently served as the President of Hemscott, Inc.
until its sale in 2006. He also led the
private equity buy-out of Media General Financial Services in 2003 and
